Creating a surface creates a sharp impression, but in Mashiko ware, the glaze is applied a little thicker, which softens the corners of the surface, giving it a gentle impression.
Not only does it have a nice design, but it also has a shape that makes it easy to hold and doesn't slip because your fingers can easily rest on the surface.
