"akaco" is a series that explores the expression of persimmon glaze, which is a glaze representative of Mashiko ware.
Persimmon glaze is characterized not only by its unique color but also by its high heat retention properties due to the high iron content in the glaze.

- Shape of plate -
The plate, which looks like a larger version of the Andonzara, which has been passed down in Seto since ancient times, is simply glazed. The edges are angled and rounded so that even if there is some soup in the dish, it will not spill out from the plate.
It can be used as a plate for one person or as a plate placed in the center of the dining table.
By placing a bean plate on top of the plate, you can create a partition and expand the range of presentation options.
