The ``sansai'' series is a tri-colored vessel with ``black glaze'' and ``white glaze'' as its basic colors, decorated with polka dot patterns of ``candy glaze,'' ``cead glaze,'' and ``bran glaze.''
- Pop dots like a calico cat -
Mashiko's traditional glaze gives a plump impression. The large round pattern goes well with the Mashiko glaze design, giving a soft impression to the entire vessel. Why not incorporate Sansai pottery as a nice accent on your dining table?
- Simple shaped round plate -
Because it has a distinctive tricolor pattern, the shape of the plate is kept simple so that the overall impression is not overpowering. Stability is increased by adding a platform to the back.
- Two sizes: 5 sun and 8 sun -
An 8-inch plate that can be used as a large plate at the dining table, and a 5-inch plate that is just the right size for small plates or dessert plates. Available in two convenient sizes. The 5-inch plate can also be used as a cup and saucer by combining it with a ``sansai mug.''

道祖土和田窯について
道祖土和田窯と書いて「さやど わだがま」と読みます。
道祖土は益子町の地名です。古くから陶器の原土が産出したこの地は益子焼の原料である粘土の生産や益子焼の窯元が数多くあり、益子焼生産の中心といえる土地です。
道祖土和田窯は自然の産物といえる陶器を「自然から頂く責任」を持って製造し、陶器の魅力を多くの人々へ届けることを目的としたブランドです。
